i came across these two amazing tree houses that i just have to share with you! i hope you enjoy them as much as i do.

1 // the bird apartment, created by japanese designer oki sato and his company nendo. it's a collective housing with 78 nest spaces for birds on one side, and an entrance for one person on the other side where you can look into the birds' nests from inside the house.

2 // mirrorcube, which is one of the rooms of tree hotel located an hour away from this place called luleå in sweden. the architects behind mirrorcube are tham & videgård arkitekter. YES you can book this tree house! imagine staying here and watching the northern lights!!

all found via enpundit.

i'm swooning over hana haley's portfolio site, a film photographer from portland who currently resides in san francisco.

love how versatile she is with different lightings be it sunset or direct sunlight, cloudy or dark with flash. or how great she uses the framing and multiple exposures. she inspires me to take my camera out more and try on these different techniques!

on a side note, only about 5 weeks left before christmas. 5 weeks! i have a few goals that i'm trying to achieve before this year ends. not going to bore you with these but amongst them are eat well, sleep well, live well. what about you?

urban + forest is based in northern coastline of maine, USA and they create rustic decor arts and objects using local natural materials. forest love!

on a side note, i just got me a ticket to kings of convenience gig at the opera house next year, such an awesome venue too for them, how very appropriate! for those of you who didn't know, yes i am a big fan of them. i can sleep well tonight :)

listen: gasoline by australian band from melbourne alpine. happy friday!

may i introduce you to charles santoso, sydney based artist originally from indonesia.

his works are just ah-ma-zing! if you happen to be in sydney, charles' current solo exhibition woodwork at kinokuniya bookstore (details above) is a must go. seriously mind blowing.

as a fellow indonesian who lives overseas, let me just tell you how proud and happy i am to see such talented people from back home doing well internationally.
