Kamikochi

Looking back at these photos from my trip to Kamikochi back in 2017 reminds me how refreshing it feels and how important it is to get away from the big city hustle bustle every now and then to be close to the nature. We were lucky to get to see the autumn foliage on the mountains on a dramatic grey misty day as well as on a bright sunny blue sky. Both views were incredibly beautiful, no matter what the weather was like the water in the river remains a clear turquoise colour. It was unreal. 

Along with our trip to Kamikochi, we also visited Matsumoto, Takayama and Shirakawa-Go. Here's a video of the whole trip, but I'll save photos from the other towns for next time.
