day 1: te anau, wilmot pass

hello y'all. yes i'm still around! it has been 2 weeks since i got back from my trip at the south island, new zealand. i've had such an amazing time, it was a much needed break away from work and nz is beyond gorgeous. i have a lot to share and hopefully these would be helpful if you're planning a trip to go down south.

miles better pies, te anau
we stayed at te anau overnight and had breakfast at miles better pies.

miles better pies, te anau
i had the steak, mushroom and bacon pie. it was quite delicious and their coffee was decent.

sandfly cafe, te anau
sandfly cafe, the cutest cafe in te anau. and that tree. just look at that cute tree! wish i had more room in my tummy to eat second breakfast here after i ate that pie.

wilmot pass
wilmot pass. on our way from manapouri to doubtful sound.

waterfall
still at wilmot pass road, a quick snap of the waterfall. we were surrounded by trees and moss and mountains, at that time i was getting excited thinking of what to expect when we get to doubtful sound.

this is just the beginning. next post i'll share photos from doubtful sound.
